Keep your front tip out of the water. The first time you do, you will find out why that is important advice.

kneeboarding is the bomb. Hold the handle and the tip of the board together w/ 1 hand. This will keep the tip out of the water. When the board starts to plane use both hands grabbing the tip and thrust your knees under you onto the board. 4 waterskiing keep tips up, weight back, knees bent & together. LET the BOAT pull U.

Jim W nailed everything on this matter. You already have the strength to ski quite well, so a lesson will refresh your memory. You'll be fine.

Just relax. I don't know the statistics, but if you stay out of the forest areas and icy patches, it probably isn't any more dangerous than the chances of you getting in a car crash.

Have some more confidence in yourself. You can still go on the blue runs, just be cautious. Look where you're going and check behind you before you merge onto another run. Overall have fun, this is a vacation.

Avoid icy patches. Don't go too fast, so keep your skis at a "pizza" shape somewhat. Avoid other skiers as much as possible, and only go on recommened and safe hills. Maybe you should even practice on a bunny slope briefly for a pretaste of how the snow will be.
I wish you luck! =)
